Trashsure #22 - The Wasteland- 30' x18' x 7', As myself and Joe Infurnari began our independent migrations out of Bushwick, we started throwing unfinished and unwanted art pieces, into a near-by vacant lot. As I was closing up the moving truck, my good friend, the unstoppable Kory Smith slipped thru the fence and began arranging the pieces. In a quick Pollock-like blur, Mr. smith spread them out and "maximized" the effect. The pieces included a giant paper head of Jesus, a Death-Bat umbrella puppet, a Black toad with the Tree of Life coming out of its back, a giant pink tree with the Slumberjack at the base with an axe, Joe's portrait of Rangar Redbread, a yellow mankind leg, an egg with a snake hatching out of it, a giant voodoo doll, a wooden box with four six foot long green tentacles reaching out of the top, along with all the crap that the local bushwick zombies throw over the fence. Thanks to Kory for his quick work and Joe for some of the better photos.
