Trashsure #23 - Mount Polyorchid . - 1.5'x1'x1', found objects, acrylic, plastic, rubber, gold wire, epoxy, and three almonds- All the pieces from a African safari play set are piled into a type of food chain, a top three mini-basketballs, a top a tripod of interlocking "tribal" figures, all held together with gold wire and liberal amounts of hot glue and epoxy. Each basketball has an almond on it too (don't ask). As I was shooting this my camera ran out of battery juice, which was appropriate seeing as how a few hours later the whole city's power cut off too.- Abandoned Aug. 14th, 2003 Broadway and 63 st., NY, NY
